If you have not already, please take about 8-10 minutes to complete the exhibitor evaluation that was emailed to all registered booth staff last week. We encourage any and all feedback as we really do read them! We also use this information to help improve our current processes for future shows. Below are a few things to remember as you wrap up everything from your time at the show.
2013 FINAL ATTENDEE NUMBERS:
The 2013 Technology Conference & Expo welcomed 1,233 total participants. We had 675 Executives (Assn Execs, Consultants, and CEO/CIO Pre-Conference Program and Tech Conference participants), 404 Exhibitors (Exhibiting Booth Staff and Artisans), 154 Others (Industry Partners, CEO/CIO Pre-Conference Program Only participants, Press, Speakers, Staff and Vendors) visiting the sold out expo hall made up of 169 booths utilized by 128 exhibiting companies. The ratio of buyers and sellers at this year's meeting was 63% buyers (association staff) vs. 37% sellers (exhibitors), which is a strong ratio.
2014 PRELIMINARY SHOW INFO:
Location: Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, National Harbor, MD
Show Dates: December 16-17
Booth Sales Opens: July 2014
PRELIMINARY BOOTH PRICING STRUCTURE (subject to change by show management):
Shared booth cost per company (member/non-member): $1,675/$2,175
10x10 premium booth (member/non-member): $3,000/$3,500
10x10 regular booth (member/non-member): $2,800/$3,300
20x20 Island booth (member/non-member): $ 12,000/$14,000
*Show managment no longer charges booths based on inline or corner position, but instead, where the booth is positioned within the exhibit hall for this conference. All PREMIUM booths are placed in the area CLOSEST to the main entrance. REGULAR booths are placed furthest away from the main entrance.
Booth Selection Process:
All space assignments are made on a first-come, first-serve basis in July 2014. All contract submissions must be accompanied with the minimum required 50% deposit of your total booth fees. Exhibitors will then have 45-days to submit final payments for remaining balances. There will be an option to submit your contract right online using a major credit card (MC, Visa, AMEX, Diners Club and Discover are gladly accepted!). For those needing to pay by check, you will be able download the paper contract, review the 2014 online floorplan and indicate multiple preferred booth options for placement on the contract, then email it to us, when it becomes available. Show management will process all exhibit contracts in the order in which they were received in ASAE offices.
If you are exhibiting with a group/block, you will need to download the paper Group/Block form and submit it with your exhibit contract via email or fax, with the required 50% deposit of total booth fees; and indicate on the contract which group/block you will exhibit with. Your group/block captain will handle the placement details for the entire group/block. Group/Block captains will be able to download the Group/Block Form when available.
Exhibit Hall Floor Plan:
All interested exhibitors will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the floorplan prior to booth sales opening in July 2014, as it is quite a different layout with a different pricing structure. We will be at a new venue for 2014 - the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, MD.
