9:00–10:00 a.m.
CIO Summit General Session
Ask any CIO about the major challenges they face and chances are you'll hear the terms "Social," "Local," and "Mobile," or as venture capital legend John Doerr of Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers calls it, "SoLoMo." This term refers to the convergence of social media, location awareness, and mobile technologies. This convergence has created new content producers, new content types, new communication vehicles, and new challenges and opportunities for producing business value.

During this session, John Mancini, CEO of AIIM, will examine implications of "SoLoMo" for associations and the strategies CIOs should adopt to be "business value producers" in this new environment.

10:00 – 10:30 a.m.
Reaction and Discussion on General Session
Reflect on what you just heard from John Mancini, ask questions, and share what key takeaways you intend to bring back to the office.

10:45 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Straight Talk about Social Media with Chris Carfi
With so many social media options out there for your organization, how can you determine which tools are best and for which purposes? What exactly does the convergence of social and mobile mean? Learn not only how to create new business value through social media by developing a social strategy, but also determine why it is important and what next steps are. Hear from Chris Carfi, leading social media strategist on these items and come prepared to reflect on the discussion with your peers.

Christopher Carfi, VP, social business strategy, Ant's Eye View

12:00 – 1:00 p.m.
Lunch
Continue networking and grab a bite to eat so you are refueled for the rest of the stimulating conversation during the afternoon sessions.

1:00 – 2:15 p.m.
Mobile Strategy and Managing Mobile Devices in the Workplace
As an association CIO you are given the somewhat daunting task of managing mobile in the workplace as it seems mobile has infiltrated the association workplace. How can association CIOs properly develop (or manage an existing) a mobile strategy that can still maintain the organization's network and data security, plus keep end-user support costs down, not to mention provide solutions and access for members? With varying devices out there with different capabilities, what is a CIO to do in order to properly integrate a management plan for it all?

Jim Firestone, systems engineer, iPhone/iPad, business channel sales, AT&T Support
Lee Grimsley, mobile applications consultant, AT&T Mobility
Chad Navarrete, sales executive, AT&T Mobility
Al Pozo, director iOS business sales, Southeast Region, Apple
Mark Stovall, account manager, mobile, McAfee

2:15 – 3:00 p.m.
Reaction & Discussion about Mobile
Do you have anything to add to the dialogue around mobile? What has your organization already implemented that would benefit the group to hear?

Renato Sogueco, CIO, Society of American Florists

3:15 – 4:00 p.m.
Wrap-up with Panel of CIOs
